The Revibe Connect is a unique technology platform designed to use specialized vibrations and sensor technology to improve focus as well as collect useful data to help keep you more informed on your child’s progress and success.
Developed in part with grant funding from the US Department of Education, Revibe Connect is a comprehensive behavioral intervention system for ages 6+ designed to track and improve a user’s focus, productivity, and on-task behavior.
The Revibe Connect system consists of two components: A wearable device and a software application for mobile devices. The Revibe Connect wearable is a cutting-edge wearable device that uses patented technology to send quiet, gentle vibrations to the wrist of the user to remind them to stay on-task. Patented algorithms help to reduce the chances a user will become accustomed to the vibrations. A patent-pending machine learning algorithm used in the device’s “Adaptive Mode” determines when to send reminder vibrations to the wrist of the user based on their real-time performance, daily schedule, etc. The software application for iOS, Android, and Chrome devices, which pairs to the wearable device to help quantify and track progress over time and provides positive reinforcement through badges and animations. This system allows for various stakeholders to more effectively track, communicate, reward, and improve on-task behavior with the reports feature.
Who is it for?
Anyone that struggles with focus can benefit from using Revibe, we recommend it for ages 6+ but we have users of all ages from 6-100! There are many different uses for the Revibe Connect, including the ability to:
Improve focus and on-task behavior through specialized vibration reminders
Quantify and track focus, attention, and fidget patterns
Provide positive reinforcement to the user for improvements
Share data insights and reporting with various stakeholders (family members, teachers, other professionals, etc.)
Easily progress monitor behaviors for RTI, IEP, etc.
Remind user of daily tasks and activities through customized message reminders sent to wrist
The Revibe Connect is appropriate for use in any setting where the user aims to
The Revibe device sends reminder vibrations to the wrist of the user, prompting them to ask themselves: "Am I on task?". If yes, they will tap the Revibe twice to let it know they were on task and then keep up the good work. If not, they will tap the Revibe once to let it know they were not on task with the understanding then they should resume on-task behavior. Positive reinforcement is the goal. We recommend the parent and/or teacher provide a specific instructional sentence each time the child puts the device on for the first week of wearing the device. We suggest telling children, “When you feel this vibrate, ask yourself, ‘Am I doing what I am supposed to be doing?’ If yes, good job, tap the Revibe once and keep up the great work; if not, tap it twice and be sure to get back to work”.
The vibration intervals are based on a research-based algorithm for focus. And the Revibe Connect can actually adjust vibration frequency/strength for the specific focus needs of each user! You can create a custom school/work schedule so that the Revibe Connect only sends vibration reminders during the times the user needs them, which helps avoid receiving vibration reminders during periods such as lunch, recess, PE, etc. The Revibe Connect system then collects all of the users data (such as the one or two taps it receives after sending a vibration reminder to the user) and uses that to adjust/personalize vibrations for each class/time period, both historically and in real-time as well as calculate metrics for response rate, focus rate, and attention span. It also collects a great deal of sensor data on fidget minutes, steps, and calories based on the detected user movements and activity.
After 6 weeks of collecting data you can download a PDF report that will show you trends in the data collected and give you a good overview of how the user has progressed during that time. This is helpful for sharing with teachers and doctors, or any other stakeholders.
Using Revibe at School
Can others around the wearer hear or detect the vibrations?
Revibe Connect’s vibration motors were designed to be whisper-quiet for classroom use.
Is the Revibe able to be used during testing?
Despite being very high-tech, Revibe is not a ‘smart device’, meaning it does not connect to Wi-Fi or receive/send any live messages or calls. As such, it may be eligible for various standardized testing sessions, however, each school is different, so you’ll have to check with your school to be sure. Please feel free to use our Intro for Teachers document to explain Revibe's use and benefit in the classroom. Should teachers or other administrators have any further questions about the device, please have them contact email@example.com.
Can view the app to monitor student progress on a computer?
Yes, you can use any computer with an internet connection to monitor progress in the app. However, in order to sync, the only device beside a phone/tablet that is compatible is Chromebook. Other computers have not been tested for syncing though, so please only use a Chromebook, smartphone, or tablet to sync the devices.
How do I share data using the Revibe app with my child’s teacher, parent, counselor etc..?
You can either share the user's data using the Share Data feature in the app by going to Settings>Data Sharing (‘view only access’), sending app screenshots, or sharing the PDF reports generated by going to the Reports page in the app. If you only have 1 user on an account you can share the email and password with the parents so they can log in to the app from their smartphone as well.
Do you have special offers for schools or other organizations buying in bulk?
Yes! For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Is Revibe on Donors Choose?
We are an approved vendor at DonorsChoose.org. It is free for teachers to create a project, and donors can provide funds to cover the cost of Revibe devices for your classroom. We have had teachers get matching funds from The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation! Pretty cool!
Do you offer a money back guarantee?
Yes! We want you to be happy with your purchase, so we offer a 90-Day 100% money back guarantee.
Does it come with a warranty?
Yes! Every Revibe Connect device comes with a one-year manufacturer's warranty with extended protection against breakage and loss/theft.
Do you provide a shipping label for returns?
While we do offer free shipping on all placed orders, we are unable to provide shipping labels for returns.
How secure and private is the data that you will be collecting?
Very easy! All you have to do is download the Revibe Connect App from the App or Google Play Store, and follow the in-app Setup Wizard (tells you what to do step-by-step!).
How do I turn it On/Off?
You can turn Revibe on by simply putting it on (the user’s natural movement will wake it up), and turn it off by taking it off and placing it in a quiet place (it will fall asleep within 20 minutes). Additionally, you can manually turn off Revibe in the app under Settings>Preferences>User Device Preferences>Mode>Off.
How do I adjust the intensity of vibration reminders?
If you are concerned that the intensity of the vibration is either too strong, or not strong enough, you can adjust this in the app under Settings>Preferences>User Device Preferences>Vibration Strength.
Which wrist do you recommend wearing it on?
We recommend wearing Revibe on your dominant hand.
How often should I sync my device?
After every full charge and at least once a day, make sure to sync your Revibe. If you go too long without syncing your Revibe, it may begin to override data that has been collected in order to make room for new data. You should also sync regularly to make sure any updates are programmed to your Revibe and to make sure that the time and date are accurate, as syncing ensures the correct time and date. If your Revibe time is off, all you need to do is sync. Your Revibe will automatically set the date and time from your phone. There are two options for syncing - a ‘Full Sync’ and a ‘Quick Sync’. Full sync will upload all of the data, a quick sync will sync everything but fidget data. Doing a quick sync will delete the fidget data collected. A full sync is always recommended unless there is a challenge with slow internet connection speeds.
“Not only is my son more focused, but his attitude has changed as well. He is more confident in his abilities.”

“My son’s behavior has drastically changed for the better. Revibe allows him to keep himself accountable and redirect himself before a teacher has to. It’s empowered him to do better in school. I also love being able to slip in notes of encouragement to him throughout the day with Revibe’s ‘text reminders’!”

“Y’all, I was worried, but this actually really works. And, it connects to an app on my phone that tells me how well she’s focusing, how often she’s fidgeting, and it has a step counter. It even tells me what parts of her day she’s excelling and struggling with. Last year it was very hard for her teacher to manage her. This year, she’s doing great and getting a sticker every day!”
- Casey Y.

“Other brands do not offer anything that comes close to Revibe, which is so specifically tailored for inattentive children. Hands down, this is the only option to keep my daughter on track at school. Her teacher even said in week one, ‘Hey! I was about to tell you to focus on your paper but I saw you tap your watch and get to it before I even had a chance to say anything!’ If that doesn't speak volumes, nothing will. Pretty darn cool!”
